Let’s Dance….

 

Welcome to Term 3 and the final month of Winter.  I must say I am looking forward to Spring and the warmer days ahead. 

 

We have just had one of our biggest and busiest weekends with the celebration of Christmas in July and the Sydney Swing Katz Swing Workshop.  I would like to thank everyone who participated and brought something along to donate to the Salvation Army Winter Appeal.  Your efforts and support were greatly appreciated by the Salvation Army Long Jetty Depot.

 

Don’t forget this Saturday is Dancealot’s Witches & Warlocks Social at Gosford RSL.  Ring Sheryl for tickets.

 

During August and September we will be promoting the Dance Competition at Parramatta RSL.  Competitors from Novice to Advance, all ages and styles are welcomed to enter.  Come along and make it a fun event!  Spectators are also welcomed.

Thank you to all who supported the Swing Workshop and for the wonderful feedback.  The Katz are looking to put on another workshop in late November. 

We have also had a request for a mature aged dance performance group.  There has been quite a keen interest and this is also being looked at.  Now we need to come up with a name for the group.  If you have any suggestions please forward them on.

If you cant make your regular class PLEASE give us a courtesy call or text message 3-4 hours before class. 

As you can appreciate we have staff members travelling from the Central Coast to Sydney and vice versa.  This will enable us to re-assess the class and organise our staff accordingly.

 

PRIVATE LESSONS incur a cancellation fee for advance hire of the hall. If you are unable to attend a private lesson please advise us as soon as possible. Preferably 6hours prior. We do apologise for any inconvenience relation to cancellations fees.  50% cancellation fee is payable.
