LINDA VINCENT Dance Instructor Linda’s love of dance started when she commenced Ballet lessons at the age of 4, and from 4 -15 years she learnt Ballet, Tap and Jazz. At the age of 15 -16 Linda went on to learn Ballroom doing her Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallions in Latin and New Vogue gaining honours in all medals. At 13 years old her Ballet teacher told her she would never be a Ballerina but was going to make a great dance teacher, she asked her if she wanted to assist in teaching the Primary class and her dream to become a dance teacher was born. At 17 Linda hung up her dance shoes until at ten years ago when she started back at Ballroom classes, then moved on to learn Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, Swing, Jitterbug and Cha Cha gaining many medals in these styles all with a Honours pass. Linda began assisting with dance classes 18 months ago and this year is attained her childhood dream in gaining her accreditation as a dance teacher. Linda teaches RocknRoll, Jitterbug, and Social Ballroom and Latin dancing. Linda is also involved along with her husband Robert Vincent (known as “Vinnie the Swing King”) on the Central Coast promoting social dancing and DJ services for all occasions.
